Nanotechnology has a 3-layered filter of Titanium dioxide photocatalyst.
It is a multifunctional composite material, titanium dioxide covered with apatite.
 Front side is serrated filter for removing dust and has been developed for application in air purification as an antimicrobial, anti fungal, and antifouling coating.
Back side of the filter is a composite carbon that can absorb and decompose bacteria and various other materials.
